Does this sound like your internal dialogue?
“WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
WHY CAN’T I JUST DO BETTER, BE BETTER?
WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?
WILL I ALWAYS BE THIS BROKEN?”
What if the answer is that there is NOTHING wrong with you. What if you were to find out that you are fundamentally, at your core, a deeply good and capable human. What if you could accept the parts of yourself that you or you feel like the world hates? What if you could change the things you are doing that aren’t working for you, or aren’t working in the way you want them to- even if they used to? What if you’re fine and It’s the world that is “broken”?
I work from a strengths focused and person-centered approach, inclusive of body-mind connectivity and the impact of privilege and oppression on mental health and overall wellbeing.
